Aimed at all fitness levels past the learn to swim stage Gliding on! uses a four - week drill training plan using the part and whole teaching method. By practicing key areas in isolation then incorporating them into the full stroke Gliding on! successfully gives you a fuller understanding of freestyle mechanics. Your Gliding on ! instructor then shows you how to maintain a good stroke under pressure so that you can increase your speed endurance.

Entry requirements You must be past the learn to swim stage and able to swim a minimum of 10 lengths continuous with head down in the water. The course is not dependent on great fitness levels as its focus is technique. Where: Huia Pool When: Four Wednesdaynights consecutively: Next course starting at Huia pool November 3,10,17,24 Time: 6pm till 7.00pm.
